Wizardmon spent most of his life wandering the digital world on his own believing no one would ever come to know or care for him. He was passing through a town when his strength gave out. It was at this point he met his Tailmon. She helped him, and shared her camp with him, and they became close friends. At the time Tailmon’s allegiance was to Myotismon so Wizardmon became one of his henchmen, at least in name. His loyalty, however, has always been to Tailmon.
When Myotismon came though the gate and ordered his subordinates to find the eighth digidestined Wizardmon, knowing this to be Tailmon’s partner, found the digivice and united Tailmon and Hikari. In the conflict that followed, Wizardmon lost his life shielding Tailmon and Hikari from one of Myotismon's attacks. His spirit however did not return to the digital world, but instead he lingered in the TV station where he would later try to warn the (season two) digidestined of the true danger they faced beyond the digimon emperor.
Time has passes and Wizardmon’s data is not longer able to find its way back to the digital world after remaining in the TV station for so long. It did however find a way to get on the internet. No longer anchored to the TV station Wizardmon now searches the net for a way to return to the digital world before the internet finally wears his data out...
Wizzie now has been safely reborn in the digital world and has been in Primary Village since Christmas, having been taken back by his ever special friend Tailmon in one of Koushiro's portable flash drives. Wizardmon is now Demi-Merimon having hatched and evloved from Mokumon in his time in primary village. Though he has evolved he has not let left Elecmon and all the babies of Primary village...
